The definition
A conversation = one customer writing to you, however many messages are exchanged that day. Ten messages from the same customer on the same day is one conversation.
What does not count
- Messages where you reply yourself (see Take over a conversation).
If you exceed your quota
Each plan includes a number of conversations per month. Beyond it, a rate per block of 100 conversations applies: it is shown on the Pricing page.
soon The month's conversation counter inside the app arrives with the subscription. During the 14-day trial, nothing is billed.
Good to know
- WhatsApp campaigns soon are billed separately by Meta, per message.
- A customer who writes on several days in a row may count as several conversations: the exact rule is shown on the Pricing page.
